Terms and Conditions for Participating
Cruise-Campus is a joint venture between the ars navigandi GmbH (technical aspects and software) and the TravelMotion GmbH (platform management, compilation, editorial aspects, and administration). Operator of Cruise-Campus TravelMotion GmbH, Hauptstr. 7, 68526 Ladenburg, Germany represented by the Managing-Director Volker Schmidt HRB 41296, AG Fürth in Odenwald. The following terms for participating apply between the participants on Cruise-Campus and the TravelMotion GmbH. Technical Requirements To participate on Cruise-Campus you will need a suitable computer and internet access (ISDN, DSL/broadband etc.) Registration The registration for participants is carried out exclusively online. After registering, every participant will receive a written confirmation via e-mail. With the registration, the terms for participating are seen as accepted. The data necessary for accessing Cruise-Campus are included with the registration confirmation. Access Data Every participant is obligated to take extra care in storing the access data and to protect this data from being misused by third parties. Changes to Personal Information Every participant must immediately notify the Cruise-Campus service team of any changes with respect to his or her name or accessibility. Personal information relating to the address, for example, can be changed by the participants themselves under "My Profile." Newsletter / Info-Mails The Cruise-Campus service team provides registered participants with information and news (newsletter) via e-mail, as follows: a) Info-mails with important information regarding the respective online training programmes b) Supplementary information, news and offers from the participating Cruise-Campus partners The participant accepts that the Cruise-Campus Newsletter may be sent to the e-mail address provided by him or her. The number of newsletters will be kept to as few as possible. The participant is responsible for any problems (e.g. missing information, certificates etc.) that result from ignoring requests or entering the incorrect e-mail address. Certificate of Participation It is incumbent upon the participating training partners to issue certificates of participation for their online training programmes. These shall be sent either by post or via e-mail. Unless stated otherwise, the certificates of participation shall be sent during the month after successful completion of the training programme. Hyperlinks Within the framework of the training programmes offered on the Cruise-Campus, hyperlinks to other websites will be offered. TravelMotion is not responsible for the contents of these other websites. TravelMotion assumes no liability with respect to the use of these other websites or for any damages incurred in connection with their use. Trademark / Copyright Every authorised participant has the right to utilise, print out or save the contents provided in the context of the online training programme for his or her own personal use. The contents made available through the Cruise-Campus are protected by copyright through TravelMotion, the authors or the licenser. Participants of the Cruise-Campus do not have any rights to ownership or patent rights of the contents made available. Liability and Compensation The operator of the Cruise Campus does not assume any liability or compensation for damages or losses to the user caused by the contents, through incorrect use of the service by the user or through material that has been infected by viruses. We note explicitly, that the user is responsible for checking the material for any viruses. Accessibility / Availability There is no right to continuous availability of the website. It can be the case that due to maintenance work or technical interruptions, the website is temporarily unavailable but this does not justify the user to make any claims for compensation to TravelMotion. Privacy Policy The participants agree that their personal data may be used as along as this serves the purpose of the contract. The participant data is used confidentially and exclusively utilised and saved for one's own use or for that of the direct Cruise-Campus training partners. Severability Clause / Final Clause When individual provisions outlined in these general conditions for use are either not legally binding in full or in part or if they later lose their legal effect in full or in part, the validity of the general conditions for use is otherwise not affected. In the event of an invalid regulation, the legal provisions take precedence. The same shall apply should the general conditions for use fail to address any unforeseen eventuality. Jurisdiction The general terms and conditions of use are subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is Fürth in Odenwald. As of: August 2007
